LORD NUFFIELD BACK AT HIS OFFICE

Lord Nuffield, who left hospital in December, surprised the staff at his Cowley office by putting in a short spell of work today. He drove himself from his home at Nuffield.

His private secretary, Mr C. Kingerlee, said: "We had no idea he was coming."
