INFLUENZA MAKES 800 JAGUAR STAFF IDLE
Jaguar Cars, of Coventry, laid off 800 employees yesterday because of absenteeism in the supply department. A number of workers were away with influenza and other illnesses. Those laid off were asked to report today as usual in the hope that the position will have improved.
