MODELS SWITCH MAKES 4,000 B.M.C. MEN IDLE

More than 4,000 Morris Motors workers at Cowley were without work today because of a shortage of supplies of finished materials. The British Motor Corporation attributed this to the switch to new models announced before the Motor Show. The delay was only temporary.
