William Lyons interviewed
17 April 1961
In The Lyons Den
Daily Mail
Jaguar Chairman Sir William Lyons is interviewed.
"I am now willing to consider putting my company back into motor racing as an official team- but only if the international climate is right. I am not interested in prototypes against prototypes. What I want to do is send out showroom cars that the public can buy to compete against similar production models of our rivals."
