B.M.C. TRUCKS TO BE MADE IN SPAIN
British Motor Corporation have signed an agreement with Sava, the Spanish motor firm, to cooperate in vehicle manufacture. The agreement, announced yesterday by Sir Leonard Lord, chairman of B.M.C., covers the next 10 years.
Sava, who manufacture commercial vehicles at Valladolid, will increase facilities there to attain the substantial volume of production required by the agreement and will soon be manufacturing B.M.C. vehicles. The B.M.C.- Sava trucks will probably be available for delivery in Spain early next year.
