B.M.C. £3M. WAREHOUSE PLAN REJECTED

An application by the British Motor Corporation to put up a 450,000 square feet spare parts warehouse at Kidlington, near Oxford, at a cost of £3,450,000, has been rejected by Oxfordshire County Council. B.M.C. are to appeal to the Minister of Housing and there may be a public inquiry. A council official said yesterday that the ground of the council's refusal was that the site was in a vulnerable part of the green belt.
