ROVER PAINT SHOP STRIKE ENDS
FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT
BIRMINGHAM, JAN. 1
The unofficial strike of 22 paint shop workers at the Solihull factory of the Rover Company, Ltd., ended to-day and a management spokesman said that the 2,200 other workers who had been laid off as a result would be able to resume work on Monday.
Talks on the dispute between the management and officials of the National Union of Vehicle Builders will be held next week. A strike of 500 men at the company's branch factory at Acocks Green over a piece-work rate dispute continues.
