Another strike at Rover factory
6 January 1960
ANOTHER STRIKE AT ROVER FACTORY
About 300 production workers walked out of the Rover company's factory at Acocks Green, Birmingham, yesterday. It was the second strike within a week over piecework rates. An official said that production at the factory had stopped and if the men did not return it might be necessary to lay off about 2,000 men at other Rover factories this evening.
