Is my classic car with a modern engine ULEZ compliant?
I am looking at a classic British car that in need of restoring. It has had a "modern" engine transplant (at this stage I am not sure of the year of the engine but its around 2005). Do you know if it still would the vehicle still be ULEZ compliant?

If the vehicle is registered in the Historic Vehicle class, which will be shown on the V5C registration document, then yes, it will still be exempt from ULEZ. However, it may not be exempt from MoT testing. DVLA has issued guidance on what constitutes a "significantly modified vehicle" here: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a81f7e6ed9...f
