Top 10: Brightwells auction cars
Brightwells, the Herefordshire-based classic vehicle auction house, is hosting its next sale on Wednesday, 13 May. As usual, there’s an impressive array of different makes and models up for grabs – and with most of them featuring very realistic estimates, there should be some good buys for anyone thinking of bidding.
If you can’t attend in person, you can bid online by pre-registering. The sale starts at 12 noon, with each lot sold being subject to a buyer’s premium of 10%, plus VAT. You can find out more by going online to www.brightwells.com. Meanwhile, check out our ten favourite lots set to go under the gavel.
1968 Fiat 500F – estimate £4000-6000
With top examples of the ever-popular 500 heading towards the five-figure mark, this one’s estimate makes it look rather tempting. Recently imported from Italy (with its Italian paperwork all present and correct), this beige baby comes with a current British MoT and is described as being in ‘lovely condition’. Its odometer shows less than 29,000km and the Fiat is said to drive very well. If this 500 comes for anywhere near its estimate, its next owner should be delighted. We love it!
