Volga Reviews

Volga was a new marque created in 1956 to sell the replacement for the long lived GAZ Pobeda. The four cars that were all sold under the Volga banner were all large saloons built especially for the higher status Communists in the Soviet nomenklatura. Volga cars were also traditionally used as taxi cabs, police cars, and ambulances (based on the estate versions). The final Volga came off the line in 2010.

Good: Big and imposing, and a little sinister
Bad: Check carefully the history of any car you're looking at
