Austin Allegro Crayford Convertible

The absolute nadir for any British Leyland apologist, the Allegro Crayford Convertible was the Kent-based convertor’s least successful car, with a grand total of 17 built before the plug was pulled, largely down to quality control issues. This example returned to the road less than a week before the show, and was lovingly restored by its owners George Beresford and Roger Feist, who drove it up from Strood, Kent.
