W123 World, Swansea

I've had my W123 restored by Mark. I must admit I was fooled by his marketing and self promotion as some sort of Mercedes Guru. Far from it. Even after spending close to ten thousand pounds, I had parts falling off and noises/ creaks I had never heard before. When I asked him to rectify them I was told to spend even more or else it was something I would have to live with. The sad reality is that many won't know any better till it's too late. At the very minimum, protect yourself legally by insisting in writing that all issues be resolved within a 2 year period solely at his cost with zero exceptions. Only then could I imagine proceeding with his operation.

I am so pleased I contacted Mark Cosovich after seeing W123World mentioned in HJ column in the paper. My 92 yr old father in law has had a 1982 W123 200 for 30+ years, but the front seats have collapsed so he and the MIL struggle to use the car (bad backs, arthritis etc). They are stuck with a 12 year old Toyota that has no power steering, which makes trips difficult. Mark came from Wales to Surrey and rebuilt the seats, liaised with the FIL, and charged very reasonable money for a difficult job. He then updated me on the details in case of possible confusion (there was none, but a great idea), and they can now drive anywhere. I seriously recommend Mark and his company. The service was exemplary, he came when he said he would and he did everything needed. Really good value and honest dealings. Thank you so much. You have given them the freedom to go out on trips again. Priceless, as they say in that advert. And the car is great too.
