Is a Volkswagen Transporter T6 worth the extra over a T5?

I'm currently looking for a second-hand Volkswagen Transporter van. I'm torn between a 65 plate T5 Highline with 86,000 miles on the clock and a 17 plate T6 Highline with 10,000 miles on the clock. The difference in price is about £10,000. Is the newer vehicle worth the money or should I save my money and get the older van?

A newer van, with less mileage, will be less susceptible to mechanical wear and tear. The T6 will also meet Euro6 emission standards and be exempt from any urban pollution charges like the ULEZ: vans.honestjohn.co.uk/features/what-is-the-ultra-l.../
