Been a fantastic car, reliable and comfortable

Having owned the car since new nearly 22 years ago, I know its history.
It has broken down twice, once in the first few days when the water pump broke, and secondly when about 18 years old the wiring loom blew and had to be repaired.
In the first few years it had a heavy loads and took them in its stride. In more recent years the milage has been low, but it regularly (twice a week) takes upto 5 kayaks, five kayakers and all their kit over challenging roads in Devon and Cornwall.
A really comfortable car.
It isn't driven sedately either!
(And I'm 57 without any accidents, claims or convictions in the 22 years I've owned the car, rather than an aggressive young driver as perhaps implied by HJ's report!).
Also, it's cheaper to insure for my teenage kids that a 1.1 litre Corsa!
