High quality transport for a couple.

I bought a Skyactive G because it is simpler and therefore hopefully more reliable. After 4 months and 3k l am very happy with my choice. The driving position and cabin ergonomics are spot on. The whole cabin oozes quality and class. Whilst the engine is no fire breathing monster it’s performance is more than adequate two up. The gearbox is a pleasure to use, which is just as well because you will find yourself using third, fourth and fifth gears more than in more powerful rivals. Sixth gear is essentially an overdrive for motorways and dual carriageways. Overall fuel economy has been good, in the high forties, with 54+ on most motorway journeys. Such journeys are quiet and relaxing at legal speeds, much more so than diesel engined cars l have owned in the past.

Ideal for a couple, if you have two teenagers or regularly carry two adults lack of back seat space and performance might suggest you need to look elsewhere. However for us an ideal sized car that looks like it do us well for a number of years to come.
