The final collection of vehicles from the recently closed Stondon Motor Museum goes under the hammer on Wednesday, July 10th, at Brightwells of Herefordshire. And with every vehicle being offered for sale with no reserve, there are more than 130 chances to grab a potential bargain.

It’s not often that a no-reserve classic vehicle auction is held, and a large turnout is expected at this one. 1973 Reliant Supervan III

The vast majority of surviving Reliant Supervans have been sprayed yellow in recent years, to replicate Derek Trotter’s from ‘Only Fools and Horses’. And this (originally blue) example is no exception. So… with some appropriate signwriting, maybe there’s a business opportunity here? This particular Supervan III dates from the model’s final year of production and was apparently only in use for its first fifteen years. With immaculate examples now fetching £5000-plus, could this be a good buy?
