1939 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider by Touring

Offered from the Sam and Emily Mann Collection, this is the Italian equivalent of the Bugatti Atlantic - the ultimate Italian sports car of its generation. This Alfa is one of 12 extant Touring Spiders.

Its history was documented by marque authority Simon Moore in The Immortal 2.9: Alfa Romeo 8C 2900. Following a Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance award-winning restoration by UK 2.9 expert Tony Merrick, it was the first 'immortal 2.9' to be offered at public auction this century.
