1964 Aston Martin DB5 - Sold for €840.000 (£628,418)

Thanks to its appearance in the 1964 James Bond movie Goldfinger, the Aston Martin DB5 is the most desirable of any of the David Brown Aston Martins. This one is a factory left-hand drive example, built originally for someone in Madrid. Non-standard equipment included Normalair air conditioning, an engine breather valve scheme, the chrome wheel option with Dunlop whitewall tyres, a Marchal headlamp with yellow bulbs, and a km/h speedometer. The car next appeared in Tenerife in 1984 and underwent a full restoration by Aston Martin specialists Richard Stewart Williams Ltd. in London. Since then, it has covered less than 11,0000kms.
