1985 Talbot Horizon 1.3 LS (Estimate £2000-£3000)

Finished in Cherry Red with sand cloth trim and having covered just 64,000 miles, this Horizon has been in the same family from new (grandfather, then grandson). The Horizon has been dry stored since new and all work carried out has been documented in the back of the maintenance booklet. It has recently undergone a re-commissioning service since its ‘retirement’ in 2003.

Most Sunbeams and Horizons, bit the dust years ago, but this car is particularly clean and fresh - testament to the dedication of two real Talbot enthusiasts. It must be one of the best-preserved examples left in the UK.

It comes with the original book pack, Horizon repair manuals, dealer brochures and a number of previous MoT certificates up to 2003 along with a current MOT until March 2016. There’s a boot full of Talbot spares, too.
