1968 Jensen Interceptor MkI (ex-Eric Morecambe)

This Jensen used to belong to Eric Morecambe - one half of British comedy duo 'Morecambe and Wise'. After being presumed lost for many years, auctions owner Nick Whale tracked down the car in Belgium.

Nick commissioned  Cropredy Bridge Garage to undertake a full restoration of the car to concours standard. The work, which included a full engine and gearbox rebuild, is documented at and stretched well into six-figures. Add that to the original £28k purchase price and it starts to look like a bit of bargain.

Sold for: £95,625
