Absolute Bargain, this car is in Fantastic Condition.A must for any Ford Mondeo Mk 1 fan.Great condition above and below, note how good the wheel arches are, rare on one this age.A must view car,you will not be dissappointed, must go! A brief history of N81BHJ,as stated to me when I bought the car on 5th Feb. 2018. "This car is owned by an elderly relative that can no longer drive(hence sale)./He bought it from new in June 1996,although it was registered by the Ford agent in September 1995.The car has been used regularly for short distance and shopping trips etc. and the MOT history reflects this with the low annual mileage recorded at each test. The car has always been garaged, this has kept the paintwork in very good condition. The interior is like new,as the seat fabric and dash have no sign of wear, sun damage and fading. The car was always entrusted to a Ford dealer for servicing and MOT.Any parts fitted seem to be Ford replacement parts. A few years ago the front and rear bumpers were repainted as there were small scratches on both. The colour was spot-on and you would only know this was done from looking under the car to view the inside of the bumpers. The door sills are clean and rust free." The car had 38179 miles on the clock when I bought it.There are small dents: on the drivers side below rear brake light, and again on same side behind front door handle onto rear door.On registration document in special notes it states that vehicle has been salvaged because estimated cost of commercial repair was more than value of the vehicle. Don't be put off by this the car is in great condition for it's age.The engine is smooth and powerful, the car is a lovely drive, with the benefits of front drivers airbag and traction control.I have fitted a new battery, water pump ,thermostat and temperature sender, the tyres are all good and there are also some new spares to go with the car. This car is well worth a look and good value.Vehicle is MOT'd until 01/02/2021. Due to a recent enquiry I ran an RAC vehicle history check which states a CAT C extensive damage loss date 2010-07-08 /date of transaction 2010-07-19.But the vehicle has never been scrapped.Indeed has always been MOT'd and driven since then. When viewed from underneath there is no damage front or back to the chassis.I drove the car today 05/0820 as I do regularly to keep it in fine fettle, mileage is 42890.I even spoke to my insurance company who say there is no problem insuring this vehicle.I need the room, have reduced the price, any inspection invited, a real bargain.
