Regrettably owing to lack of space I offer this reliable, fine, lavishly maintained and garaged 1973 204 Estate featured in Practical Classics Magazine. I would prefer to see this cherished vehicle go to a Peugeot enthusiast and a good home. It is currently insured with an Agreed Value of £5000. The vehicle is totally rust free having been fitted with several new genuine Peugeot body panels refinished in its original Midnight Blue, sprayed professionally using a baking oven and Herberts Tupac Finish. This is complemented with new stainless steel bright work trim and bumpers, new headlamps and tail lights. All body cavities have been treated with a Swedish anti-corrosion inhibitor with fitted plastic shields inserts in the wings to eliminate the accumulation of road dirt. It now features a strong refurbished XL3S Power Unit with Dual Choke Carburettor, a new steering rack, new engine subframe, new suspension parts and a brake overhaul costing over £3500 in parts alone. It is Tax Exempt and has a valid MOT until December 2018, although an MOT is now no longer legally essential. This Historical Vehicle also qualifies for charge free usage within the Mayor of London's planned new Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) commencing 2021. Included in this quick sale for £4250 o.n.o are two complete power units one of which is the original still in working order plus several good body panels, lamps, trim and many genuine suspension, steering, gearbox and essential spare parts too numerous to mention here.
