1969 Ford Capri 1600XL, 63,000 miles from new

0333 344 2329
ID 9442

All of the 3 pictures were taken when I got it and BEFORE I spent over £6000 on improvement. Certainly one of the best 50 year old cars in Britain. Zero rust Zero dents Zero rips or cigarette burns Zero mechanical faults Zero dirt in engine bay or anywhere else. Excellent when I bought it and spent a further £6000 + improving her. First 2 owners had it for 49 years. Interesting history, the first owner was a Ford, Dagenham employee. He got the car in June 1969 under a Ford employee incentive scheme. Original receipt with the employee price being just £504. Original factory build sheet, HP agreement pages of old mots and tax discs and original insurance documents. I like modified cars and hotrods however I have totally resisted modifying this car from standard spec. This car has never ever had a hole drilled for an aerial or radio. The few alterations I made can be easily undone by the next custodian of this piece of motoring history. Painted Rostyles changed for chrome wheels and wider radials Steering wheel in now covered in white leather GT centre console just SITTING in place Wing mirrors changed to door mirrors Seat belts changed for recoiling ones. The car will come with the parts above that I removed. Being 50 years old the car is tax & mot exempt but I don't believe in hiding behind mot exemption so the car is mot'd until may 2020. The car is NOT being sold cheap and the £20,000 price tag is fair to low for one of the very best Capri's in the country. Offers? NO THANKS. Want a brilliant Capri, then YES PLEASE! The description is fair and honest but remember the car is nearly 51 years old complete with 50 year old technology.
