Taken too many years and far too much money (in excess of 12K) 4 door mk2, a real sleeper, been dry stored most of the 8+years i have owned it, brand new tlas rear end 3;44 ratio diff, disc brakes, extra pinned, extra thick tubes, customised prop shaft, alloy fuel tank with swirl pot built in, new fuel pumps and filters, new fuel lines, refurbed deep dish steel mexico wheels, brand new tyres all round, 205 rear 185 fronts, undersealed, painted, protected left right and centre, solid and well made gearbox crossmember, Vauxhall omega 5 speed v6 gearbox, brand new clutch and plate, brand new bias pedal box, new rear seats in rear, rare modified front seats, extra large tunnel (was a 1600 auto) been made bigger to accommodate the gearbox (5 spd manual, good for over 350 bhp) standard clocks, heater works, as do the wipers and all electrics, modified bonnet (very rare to see this mod) new front lights, engine bay has been resprayed, extra wide anti dive bar, remote oil filter, filter pressure gauge, all new pipes, new thermostat and new alloy rad and electronic fan, none of these parts have been used, the car has not been on the road, never driven in all the time i have had it! jenvey throttle bodies (Copies) brand new, also the ecu from SBD is brand new, cost over £1500, coil over front shocks, large calipers, vented discs, standard interior, red and black interior door cards and handles, carpet needs to be finished due to size of tunnel, Exhaust is brand new, rear shocks again, brand new, has anti tramp bars fitted also. Engine is a vauxhall 16v redtop, heavily modified head, wossner pistons, and a rather large exhaust manifold 4 into 2, lambda sensor fitted only last week. the car really is a one off, i have left the body as i bought it, but rubbed the outside down, and lacquered it a few times. new magnum panels fitted, front panel, slam panel, both front wings, 1 top rail, rear arches. the engine went for a rolling road tune up and to map the engine to get the exhaust emissions down, but there is a minute gap where the downpipe meets the exhaust system around the collector, and just before the straps were to be fitted for the rolling road side of things, we gave it a good rev, and there was a slight tap/pinking from the bottom end! i have had too much time wasted on this project, too many people wasting my time and money and not up to the job they said they could perform (hence the time i have had it!) finally, after sorting insurance and an agreed valuation, i was nearly there! now this happens, it could be something minor, or a bit more, but the car has NOT BEEN DRIVEN, No offers, no tyre kickers genuine interest only, others will be ignored.
