A dealer buying my car wants to bank details so they can deposit a small amount of money - is this safe?
The dealer buying my car has asked for my bank details so that he can deposit a small amount of money prior to the actual sale. Is this safe? I know you said that sellers should ask for cash, but the dealer does not want to pay cash. What are my options?

That makes no sense to me. Seems to be a scam to get your bank details. Don't trust this guy at all.
