Rock and roll and cars go together like gangsta rap and free-flowing misogyny. For that reason, many an exotic or unique car has become associated with a particular musical maestro.

John Lennon’s Ferrari 330 GT

In June 2013 a rare Ferrari 330 GT sold at a Goodwood Festival of Speed auction for £360,000. Just 500 were made – but only this one was owned by John Lennon.
Purchased for £6,500 just after passing his driving test, Lennon put 20,000 miles on the beautiful 2+2 in the subsequent two years, before selling it on.
