Morris Minor Panda Car in Friday's 'Flipping Bangers'

This Friday's instalment of Flipping Bangers features a pale blue and white Morry Thou Panda Car. Remember them?

The theme of the show is finding an unloved older car, bringing it back to life, applying a few tricks to make it more attractive and then attempting to double the investment.

The jeopardy comes from starting an onlne auction immediately to sell the car in 5 days.

This time, Will Trickett and Gus Gregory search out a Morris Minor 1000 and turn up one that did time as a Panda Car in the familiar shade of pale blue.

They have to bid for it in a typical eBay auction. Then, having put their money on the line, they struggle to give it the added value it needs to make a profit from.

But there’s rust underneath requiring repair panels and welding. Then the engine begins to run rough, needing a rebuild of its SU carburetor.

Having fixed all that, the pals decide to dress it up by wrapping the doors in white Panda Car livery in the hope of extracting £3,000 from the ‘ello, ‘ello, wot’s all this then? brigade.

The 10-part series features transformations of classic cars from the VW Beetle to the Suzuki SJ. A BMW Z3 also gets bought and flipped.
