Goodwood Revival: Friday gallery

More than 150,000 people have travelled to Goodwood Circuit this weekend to enjoy another historic Revival. This year’s event is being heralded as one of the best yet, with tributes to some of the sport's most iconic legends, including the career of Jim Clark, the 50th anniversary of the Ford GT40 and 100 years of Aston Martin.

Here are some of our Friday highlights from the Revival.

Vauxhall’s 1966 XVR Concept was one of the many static highlights at Goodwood. The car was first unveiled at the 1966 Earl's Court Motor Show and features gullwing doors, pop-up headlights and all- independent suspension. Although the XVR never made it to production, its interior, instrument design and switchgear were used as a template for the HB Viva GT, FD Ventora and VX4/90.
