Goodwood Revival: Friday gallery

More than 150,000 people have travelled to Goodwood Circuit this weekend to enjoy another historic Revival. This year’s event is being heralded as one of the best yet, with tributes to some of the sport's most iconic legends, including the career of Jim Clark, the 50th anniversary of the Ford GT40 and 100 years of Aston Martin.

Here are some of our Friday highlights from the Revival.

Goodwood’s GT40 celebration also included a dedicated Le Mans style paddock, which was open to the public, much to the delight of the capacity crowd. The GT40 (initially known as the Ford GT) was created to meet with new manufacturer prototype regulations at Le Mans. The Ford went on to become an endurance racing icon, winning the 24 Hours race at La Sarthe four years in a row, from 1966 to 1969.
