Top 10: NEC Classic Motor Show cars
This weekend's 2017 Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show looks set to be another resounding success, with over 2500 classics of all types on display. More than a million square feet of floorspace has been dedicated to old vehicles, which means there’s something for just about everyone. Here are ten of our favourite exhibits.
Mercedes-Benz 280 SL
One of the most impressive trade stands is that of The SL Shop, which used the NEC show to promote its cars for sale as well as the firm’s Mercedes-Benz restoration services. This immaculate 280 SL version of the W113 'Pagoda' series dates from 1970 and has been fully restored by The SL Shop. Much of the firm’s activities are focused on the long-lived R107-series SL of 1971-89, however, with a good selection of vehicles to choose from in the showroom.
