NEC Classic Motor Show 2016: Friday’s top 10 highlights

 

The NEC Classic Motor Show 2016 opened its doors to the public on the 11 November for the first of a three-day spectacle. Featuring over 2500 historic and classic vehicles, the Classic Motor Show is the UK's largest indoor automotive event, covering over one million square feet of floor space with an eclectic range of classic and historic vehicles.

Earl’s Court Jensen takes centre stage

During the 1970 Earl’s Court Motor Show, this white Interceptor MkII was the official show car and was bought at the event by a director of the Sutherland Shirt company. After passing through a number of owners, the car was given a part restoration in the 1990s, but the job was never finished until 2013. Today it’s owned by a member of the Jensen Owners’ Club, where’s it’s a regular at events.
