Goodwood Trophy celebrates 70 years    

A grid of thundering MGs, Alfas and Maseratis marked 70 years of the Goodwood Trophy. The race win went to the three-times winner of the British Endurance Championship Callum Lockie, who was driving Sean Danaher’s 1938 Maserati 6CM to win the 20-minute race for Grand Prix and Voiturette cars built and raced between 1930 and ’51. It was a close affair, however, with Lockie finishing just half a second ahead of Mark Gillies in the 1934 ERA A-Type.
