Fast Fords delight
Fans of the Blue Oval were in good company at Goodwood with dozens of fast Fords in action. Here two Lotus Cortinas wait for their chance on track, with Kerry Michael’s blue 1964 car waiting patiently behind Peter Chambers’ bright red 1963 Mk1. The eye-catching number 10 car was heavily damaged during the St Mary’s Trophy after it was involved in an accident mid-race and rolled over. Chambers was thankfully able to walk away without serious injury.
