Jaguar E-types go coastal

Published 18 April 2016

Jaguar E-type owners are set to drive a complete coastal lap of Great Britain later this year to raise money for charity.

Acting in groups, enthusiasts will tackle the route over 18 days to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. The oldest car on the run will be 9600HP - this is the car Jaguar used to launch the E-type at Geneva in 1961.

The event will be officially launched at Bicester Heritage on Sunday, 24 April, with more than 60 E-types expected to attend. The fundraiser is the brainchild of celebrated motoring author Philip Porter, who has just recovered from prostate cancer.
