Sir Stirling Moss, Paddy Hopkirk and Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams will be starring at this weekend's Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb. The event, which is the best known of its type in the UK, hosts the Midland Automobile Club's Classic Nostalgia meeting, and attracts several hundred classic cars.

Formula 1 legend Sir Stirling Moss will be in attendance all day on Sunday performing a number of duties including claiming his own 'yard of tarmac' near the Start Line on the hill, a scheme introduced to raise money for restoration projects at Shelsley Walsh, one of which is the Museum Bar which he will officially open in the Courtyard.

Sunday will also see a Concours d'Elegance competition for the first 100 cars that arrive by 12.00 noon latest and enter. This will be judged in various classes by Simon Taylor, followed by a cavalcade run of the 15 best cars driving up the historic hill in the afternoon led by Sir Stirling Moss in the Jaguar F-type. The weekend also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic Mini Cooper with famous rally and racing stars Paddy Hopkirk and Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams driving examples of the marque, together with classic trials cars which will be giving passenger rides for visitors.
