DB5 (1963-65)

The DB5 arrived in 1963 - the year in which it was also immortalised by its gadget-laden appearance in the third James Bond film Goldfinger. Many regard it as the prettiest of all Astons. Under the bonnet was a triple-carb 4.0-litre that was good for 282bhp. Early cars got four-speeds with overdrive before a five-speed gearbox became standard.
