Classic car auction house Coys goes into administration

Published 01 May 2020

Coys of Kensington Automobiles has gone into administration.

The administrators appointed on April 17 by the High Court of Justice are FRP Advisory Trading of London.

The move into administration was posted in The Gazette on Thursday, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The news has also been posted on Companies House records, but it does not appear on Coys' website.

Coys website is still listing its next classic-car auction as July 11 at Blenheim Palace.

Didn’t some iteration of Coy’s go bust previously, leaving some people seriously out of pocket?

soooo sad.
Don't get me wrong, I've never spent money at Coys, but I've always hoped I would one day.
I'd turn up at an auction and buy my forever classic.
Sad times.
Let's hope they manage to resurface.
