Barn find Aston Martin DBS sold for £43,240

Published 11 March 2015

The last Aston Martin DBS to come off the production line sold for £43,240 at auction.

The car, which was found in a Surrey barn, went under the hammer at Coys Spring Classics sale in London on 10 March.

Having sat in a barn since 1980, it was discovered by Chris Routledge, Coys’ managing partner of the auction house.

Routledge said it was a great ending to a fantastic story. He said, ‘The car has been sold to an Aston Martin collector who is so excited about having the opportunity to restore the very last production DBS that has almost started to do the work in the auction room.’
