As you'd expect for the venue, it's heavy on competition cars, but there are also more than a few fascinating road cars on offer.

We've already highlighted some of the more interesting cars in the sale, such as Ayton Senna's Honda NSX and Stephen Ward's Jaguar XK, so here are 10 that we just couldn't resist previewing. The sale commences on Saturday 22 February with Lots 401-653 offered on Sunday 23 February. More at www.silverstoneauctions.com
Audi 100
No reserve
Cars of the 1980s are a favourite with our readers, and there are few around that epitomise the advances that the car industry were responsible for during the decade than the C3-generation Audi 100. It was light, aerodynamic and efficient, and is more than capable of keeping up with the flow today. This one on offer has an exceptionally low mileage for the breed, with an odometer reading of around 50,000. it was recommissioned in 2009, and since then it's covered a further 30 miles, getting another MoT on the board. There's no reserve and no estimate, and it's a hard car to value - but definitely one to watch in terms of being a potential bargain.
