How can I get the best price for my classic car?

I have a 1950 Citroen Light 15 (Traction Avant) which is mechanically sound but needs a bit of work. What is the best way to sell such a car and to get the best price with the lowest outlay?

Best bet is a classic auction. Try www.historics.co.uk or www.bonhams.com
