Valued opinion

What must I do to become a classic car and motorcycle valuer? I absolutely love all cars and motorcycles but haven't got an in depth knowledge of them all. Where do I begin? It's a catch 22, too, because I can't work at an auction house on a voluntary basis because I need to earn money in my current role, and I can't get an actual job with cars because nobody seems to be recruiting at the moment and even if they were, I haven't the experience they require.

Attend or otherwise get the results from every single classic car auction in the UK, in Europe and the USA, understand the different condition levels (the difference between “flawless” and “floorless”) and build up a database of prices achieved v/s condition of the cars. Very hard work.
