What should I pay for my friend's 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series 1?

I have been offered a Jaguar E-Type FHC 1961 Series 1 in good condition by a friend. What would be a fair price to offer him please?

Anything from £10,000 to £100,000, depending on condition and history. This is an early, 'flat floor' 3.8, which makes it more valuable than just any old E-Type. But its true value depends on condition and history. At least £10,000, though, whatever the condition.
