Mercedes 350 SELL

My wife would like to sell her Jan 1979 Mercedes 350SL with detachable hardtop, mileage about 98,000, condition good. BCA no longer holds classic car auctions and she would prefer not to have to resort to E-Bay if possible. Any suggestions as to how to proceed please? Also, do the problems with ABS on Golfs also apply to Jettas?

For the Mercedes, www.barons-auctions.com The Golf ABS problem is confined to Teves ABS modules, and I don’t think they are fitted to the Mexican built Jettas and Golf/Jettas estates. VW is now coughing up. See entries in car-by-car breakdown at hjuk.
