Would a 1999 vehicle be covered by classic car insurance?

I've been offered a 1999 Lexus GS300. Could you tell me if it comes under classic car insurance?

You'll need to check with each insurer. We did a couple of quotes for one and although it was available on a classic car policy, it was just as expensive as a modern policy (eg £300+). It depends on how you're planning to use it - if it's a weekend/summer car you've got more chance to get it covered on a classic policy.
