SORN in half
I have just retired after spending all my working life in and around the motor trade. We have a problem with which I hope you can offer some help which you probably have never been asked before. I am an officer of a Classic Car Club and we are custodians of a British Leyland sectioned car, which was used as a motor show exhibit. We obviously want this unique car to be preserved for future generations to enjoy, and wonder if you have any idea of a motoring museum or similar venue who would be prepared to accept this exhibit for their collection? If you are able to help us we would be very grateful, and I can supply more information about the car if needed.

I can't imagine that you would have much trouble placing such an
interesting exhibit. I guess national Motor Museum Beaulieu, Heritage Collection, Gaydon. But they are so obvious I expect you may have tried them already. Also the Haynes Museum at Sparkford.
