Where can I sell a bog standard Vauxhall Nova saloon?

I am wondering what is the best way to sell a G-reg Vauxhall Nova Merit four-door saloon that is part of a deceased estate? The car was bought from new and has been garaged and currently has 47K miles on the clock. The MoT ran out in 2013 and as far as I'm aware it hasn't moved since then (but it's still in the garage). I'm not aware of the condition but the previous MoT history lists no advisories dating back to 2006 and all the service documentation is available.

The car is located in London but I am just wondering whether there is a Nova car club or the best way of selling the car? I have had a search online for this sort of thing and see that there's quite a strong presence of modified Novas rather than bog-standard ones so any advice would be welcomed..

If you want the most money for the car and are willing to invest the time, then you'll likely need to sell it privately. However, if you need it gone with minimal hassle, you could enter it into an auction - Anglia Car Auctions, Barons, Classic Car Auctions all do well with low-mileage classics. There'll probably be quite a lot of interest because, as you point out, few standard ones are left. However, Novas just don't seem to have the following of rivals from Ford or British manufacturers. There is a Vauxhall Nova UK club - I think the best way to get hold of them is probably via their Facebook page. In terms of value, there are standard low mileage examples advertised for sale at anything from £1100 to £2000. With a pretty enthusiastic modifying and race community you'll need to weigh up whether you'd like to see the car kept standard or not.
