Video: Police pursue stolen Morris Minor

Published 13 November 2018

This is the moment a stolen Morris Minor nearly crashed at a junction while being pursued by police. The incident happened in the Fagley area of Bradford on Saturday. The car was reported as stolen at 7.30am and was spotted by West Yorkshire Police just after 8am.

Offers from the Road Policing Unit tweeted, ‘It’s not every day you have a pursuit with a 51-year-old Morris Minor. They added, ‘Can anyone explain how it didn’t crash at this junction?’

Police say the pursuit lasted ‘quite a while’ but that the vehicle was recovered without damage.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting crime reference number 13180564315.
