Car S.O.S exhibition opens at British Motor Museum

Published 04 June 2018

Seven classics brought back to life by TV series Car S.O.S are now on display at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon. The collection includes a pre-war Austin ‘Tilly’ truck, a Lancia Delta Integrale, an AC Aceca sports, plus and MGA, Volvo P1800, Aston Martin DB6 and a Ford Capri RS3100.

Graphics and clips from the relevant episodes run alongside each of the cars. These detail the (many) technical dilemmas presenters Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend had to overcome to get the cars back on the road. But they will also give visitors an insight into some of the personal stories and challenges faced by each of the cars' owners.
