Hundreds of cars set for Donington show

Published 30 July 2014

Hundreds of kit and performance cars will gather at Donington Park on 30-31 August for one of the scene’s largest and most diverse events of the year – the National Kit and Performance Car Show.

Donington Park’s exhibition hall will be packed with exciting cars and special exhibits, and visitors can explore the club display area where several hundred privately-owned kit cars will be on show.

Outside there will be plenty of live action displays to keep you entertained, including spectator viewing of the famous Donington race circuit, where show visitors can enjoy a full weekend of racing from the Classic Sports Car Club (included in the ticket price).

And members of the BTRDA Autotest Championship will be demonstrating their extraordinary driving skills.

There will also be a ‘Live Gearbox Challenge’ where visitors have to guess how long it takes to change a gearbox, and a ‘Live Club Car Rescue’ as members of the UK Kit Car Club attempt to restore a car that’s been in storage for almost ten years. By the end of the weekend, it should be ready for an MoT… hopefully.

Book online now and get day tickets for £12 (£15 on the gate) while weekend entry costs £20 (£25 on the day). Visit www.doningtonkitcarshow.co.uk for more information.
